Repeatable long-range precision requires a propellant which constantly works over extreme temperatures. Alliant Powder® reloder 16, like reloder 23 and AR CompTM, achieves international stability through the use of TZ® technology. It manipulates the material’s response and resists the natural tendency to produce more pressure at higher temperatures and lower pressure. The burn rate of the reloder 16 is a bit faster than for the reloder 17, even within the burning band 4350. It is thus ideal for traditional hunting cartridges such as the 30-06 Spring and 270 Wins, as well as target loads of 6.5 mm and tactical applications in which the temperature is stable.
